We may not be slaves anymore, but I’ll be damned if someone tells me that we aren’t sabotaging ourselves at every moment we get. We don’t have a culture here in America. We’re not like the Blacks in the UK, where most of them actually migrate from African countries where they don’t have last names like "Jones", "Jackson" or "Williams." They know their history. They have a culture. Here? Our culture was cultivated by the media. Hey, we have no prior history, so whenever we see a prominent Black with money/power/notoriety, we will try to identify with and relate. Those Big Willy White guys sitting in their executive chairs at the offices of some hip hop rap label definitely knew what they were doing when they decided to promote the more ignorant of rappers as opposed to the intellectual. I mean, if you have seen more Talib Kweli or Common videos than Lil Wayne.. let me know. Keep putting the ignorance in our faces, and just decorate it with a Black man or woman. We’ll try to identify, because what other culture do we have? Jones? Williams? Christianity? Whatever culture we have is designed by White america and the media. The Willie Lynch Theory proved that.
We ( as a collective whole ) are brainwashed to believe we’re inferior, that educated Blacks are oreos or sell-outs ( Try speaking properly around a group of Blacks from the projects ), taught us to be divided amongst ourselves, as oppose to united.. We never build up our own communities.. Why are all the corner stores in the ghetto owned by Asians and Arabs? If we invested in our own communities, built our own schools, own stores then obviously we’d hire each other for work and the unemployment with Blacks wouldn’t be so high. Black women are taught to sleep around and prostitute themselves for money. Gold diggers? Video Vixens? Karrine Steffans? It sure wasn’t Black media that made this whore famous, and guess what.. Black girls will try to relate and identify with this whore the White media made popular. It’s so unfortunate.. But, I realize that there is nothing I can do to change it, perhaps move to Africa.. or London? ..And don’t even get me started on BET…
BTW. I visited Jo’Burg in S.A. in 2006.. and guess what? Those crime stats White America lays out, describing S.A. as the most violent country in the world? All I’ll say is this, do not believe everything you hear. Guess this is the White Man’s way of trying to keep you as a mental slave here in America and discouraging you from exploring your true roots. Apparently it’s working, too. Not seeing too many in a rush to go there. My only disappointment with S.A. is the fact that even in a predominately Black nation, Whites were still over-represented in the work force. Pathetic.

I just finished getting my office functional with all the furniture and basics, but it’s boring with all white walls. I’m an off campus high school baseball coach and got the office built on campus so my coaching staff has a place to meet with players, parents and what not. Right now it’s just desks, cabinets and a table. I know we’re going to put up some team pictures and things like that, but I’m looking for other ideas too. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Hi Friend! I can not wait for you to visit me. I want to tell you about my spanish classroom first though. My classroom has one T.V, two computers, three white boards, one clock, and two flags. My classroom is regular sized. In the front of the room we have a white board and next to it is my teachers desk. To the far right of it we have a t.v on the wall with a desk under it. In the back of the room we have one small white board right by a big white board. Above the big white board the is a clock. On the vary left side in the back we have a comuter and a desk under the computer with a pencil sharpener on top of the desk. On one side of the classroom we have to windows. in the middle of the classroom and to the right side we have eleven tables with two chairs under each desk.
